Funding for Exercise Physiology Services

At Rebuilding Movements, our Exercise Physiologists are highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in the field. Our team is dedicated to helping individuals improve their physical function, manage chronic diseases, and enhance overall well-being. 

Funding Options

You can access Exercise Physiology Services from the following funding organisations:

Many Private health funds offer rebates for services provided by Exercise Physiologists. No referral is needed.

Chronic Disease Management (CDM)

Any Client with a noted ailment or chronic condition is entitled to 5 visits on referral from a GP.

Type II Diabetes Exercise Group Classes

In this program, clients are entitled to 1 assessment and 8 group sessions

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health

Any Client with a noted ailment or chronic condition is entitled to 5 visits.

Rebuilding Movements can provide clinically necessary Rehabilitative treatment for DVA-entitled clients (Gold card and White card holders with a chronic condition) on referral from a GP.

This service can be funded by your NDIS package under the following support categories:

  • Capacity Building– Improved Daily Living Skills 
  • Capacity Building – Improved Health and Wellbeing
